Let’s talk about

Words.

I’m an independent musician, who also lives on Instagram, who hosts a podcast about the power of words, who also loves reading, who also has a background in Computer Science, and who is studying a PhD in gender and diversity in digital innovation.

What do I do?

I talk about and use words in every area of what I do. It drives the research I do on gender, language and Computer Science. It ties into the lyrics I write for my music. It’s what motivates the podcast where I talk to people about how they use words to tell stories.

AUGUST 2021

What’s the overlap here? What’s my niche? And then I came to the realisation that it’s language. In my research I’m specifically looking at language, and then I interview authors about their books and I write music, and I’m obsessed with lyrics. It’s words.
