Shop Independant - Christmas Gift Guide

YES I KNOW. It’s only November…

But I like to spread my shopping (and the cost) out as much as I can, and I’m not organised enough to start doing that in June like my sister. With a lot of independent businesses struggling due to lockdown, I thought I’d curate a list of my favourite independent shops for you!

1. Handmade linen clothes and accessories

Elle from elleclipse makes the most stunning linen clothing. They do cute scrunchies for just £8.50, and stunning scarves for £30. And if you really want to treat someone (or yourself), they do stunning made to order tops, smocks and skirts. Elle’s also be kind enough to share the code ALICE10 - to help reduce the cost this Christmas!

2. Hair slides and earrings

My friend Katie makes the cutest hair slides (I don’t have my ears pierced but her earrings are stunning too!) that feel like they’re straight out of the 70s in the best possible way. They start at just ££4 and she’s even given me the discount code LUTUMXMAS20 to share with you all, so head over to her Etsy page!

3. Bookcosies for your booklovers

Do you love keeping your books in pristine condition? Protecting them from the harsh world? Paper and Word make the cutest book cosies and they start at just £14!

4. Stunning art to brighten up a space

Mohisha is a friend I met through Instagram, and she makes the most stunning pastel artwork and stickers. For some really cosy and magical stocking fillers, make sure you check out her Etsy shop where stickers start from just £3! And don’t forget the code ENJOY15 for a cheeky little discount.

5. Natural, organic skincare

Wren and Willow make the most wonderful moisturiser/face-mask called ‘Hero-Balm’ and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s just £22, handmade, and makes your skin feel incredible (you’ll know I love it if you’ve been following for a while!).
